The Inside Sales Representative is to use a customer-focused sales approach to drive understanding of ZPE Systems hardware and software business value. The ISR will work along with our sales leaders to nurture existing customers and identify areas of potential company growth. ISR’s will schedule, coordinate, and attend meetings/demos as well in our team selling environment.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Work with sales team to nurture existing customers and identify areas of potential company growth
  • Processes leads from marketing activities, inbound calls, field referrals, prospecting, and other sources
  • Respond to phone and e-mail sales inquiries in a timely, efficient and professional manner
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge on the features and business applications of the company’s product line
  • Assist with local trade shows and events
  • Assist with various sales and marketing activities
  • The opportunity to participate in, and learn other parts of our business


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University
  • 2-3 years of Software/Hardware sales experience in a professional environment
  • Knowledge of the sales cycle, from lead generation to closure
  • Requires an excellent telephone and personal demeanor
  • Must have exceptional organizational, written, and oral communication skills
  • Pays special attention to detail
  • A Strong desire and eagerness to learn
  • Must play well with others

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CRM platform experience
  • Experience working with VAR’s a plus
  • Hardware/Software sales experience a plus
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Capable of delivering a value proposition
  • Motivated with a self-starting attitude
  • Proposal writing and Quoting experience a plus
